Is 49 cm actually low enough to sit cross-legged on the floor comfortably?
Yes! 49 cm (around 19 inches) brings the tabletop right down to lap level when you're sitting flat on a cushion, yoga mat, or rug. You won't have to hunch over or strain your shoulders while typing on the floor.
What happens to all my monitor cables when the desk goes from 49 cm all the way up to 120 cm?
Because the desk has a massive 71 cm vertical movement range, you need longer cables (or a mounted power strip underneath). We strongly recommend using our under-desk Cable Management Tray so your laptop charger and monitor wires move with the desk without pulling out of the wall.
Will it wobble or shake if I put two heavy monitors and a gaming PC on it at full height?
No. Unlike 2-stage or 3-stage standing desks that can get shaky near the top, Yogeek uses 4-stage SPCC steel columns and dual motors. It handles up to 100 kg easily, so typing aggressively or leaning on the desk at 120 cm won't cause screen-shake.
I have kids and pets. What if the desk lowers onto something on the floor?
The built-in anti-collision system stops the motor automatically. If the desk frame touches a toy, a chair armrest, a box, or a pet bed while going down, it instantly stops and reverses up by 2–3 cm to prevent any crushing.
Can I adjust the height during late-night work or Zoom calls without waking up the house?
Easily. The dual motors run at under 35 dB—which is quieter than a whisper or a quiet library. You can switch positions mid-meeting without anyone on your call even noticing the background sound.
Does it come fully assembled, or am I going to spend my entire Sunday building it?
It comes flat-packed with pre-drilled holes, labeled screws, and the tools you need. Most buyers assemble it in about 30 to 45 minutes. Because the heavy-duty steel frame is solid, we recommend having a second person help you flip the desk right-side up once assembled.
